Lab journal app for
Institut Kirchhoff Berlin
In May 2022, we embarked on a journey with Institut Kirchhoff Berlin to digitize the recording of measurement results in laboratories through custom app development. This saves time-consuming steps for employees and minimizes transmission errors.
In this pilot project, we developed an app that allows for displaying measurement specifications and recording results via tablet for various examination methods. Through user surveys and prototype testing, laboratory staff were directly involved in the software development.
Every review meeting sharpened our focus and clarified the path forward. Through the agile process, we collaboratively identified the most important features. Following multiple test runs, the app was successfully launched in the institute’s laboratories, where the positive feedback speaks volumes.
