The relaunch of the IFS website had a clear goal: the central platform for international food safety and quality standards was not only to be modernized visually, but above all to be structured in terms of content and optimized technically. The focus was on creating a new, responsive layout that would appeal more specifically to the various target groups\u2014manufacturers, certification bodies, and auditors. The core of the concept was to bundle all information on the various certifications (e.g., food, logistics) on a single page, thereby significantly improving clarity, orientation, and user-friendliness. <\/p>\n\n

Technically, the focus was on integrating multilingual content, connecting to internal APIs for certificate and certification authority searches, and setting up a powerful document management system\u2014the so-called Document Hub. This enables easy maintenance and targeted searches within several hundred PDF documents. The customer wanted to be able to maintain and manage editorial content largely independently in the future. Our team designed and implemented an easy-to-use CMS backend for this purpose. <\/p>\n\n

We took on almost all key roles during the project: from UX and UI design to frontend and backend development to Scrum Master. The design was developed in close alignment with the existing IFS CD. The structural specifications for the website were largely provided by the customer\u2014our task was to implement them in the best possible way, both functionally and visually. <\/p>\n\n
