BR Volleys win German championship for the twelfth time!

It couldn’t have been more exciting: the BR Volleys celebrated their magnificent comeback on April 30, 2022, in the sold-out Max-Schmelling-Halle! convivo is proud to continue supporting this exciting volleyball project from Berlin with its sponsorship.
In front of almost 9,000 spectators, Berlin clinched the German championship title, defeating their long-standing rivals VfB Friedrichshafen 3-1 after a neck-and-neck race, thus winning the best-of-five series 3-2.
An absolute first in the history of the playoffs since their introduction in 1987: BR Volleys are the first team to win the title after losing the first two games of the final series and then winning three in a row.
For coach Cedric Enard, this phenomenal comeback is more significant than ever. In an interview with rbb after the championship trophy was presented, he said: “I’ve been here for four years now, and this was the first time we had the chance to win the title (…). It’s fantastic that we did it. I’m so happy.”
