Update of the
DPG homepage
We are revamping the website for our client Deutsche Pfandsystem GmbH and replacing outdated animations with alternatives to Flash Player.
Our mission
As a temporary measure, graphics based on Flash animations will be replaced by images.
We will continue to support our customer with the future relaunch of the site. In addition to the usual website backups, a comprehensive offline backup of all content and graphic website elements was created in advance, thus laying the foundation for the creation of new graphics.
Why is this necessary?
Adobe discontinued support for Flash Player on December 31, 2020, and states on its website that “Flash-based content will be blocked in Flash Player starting January 12, 2021.” Users are also strongly advised to uninstall the player for security reasons. In order to continue providing customers with important information at short notice, Flash Player animations will therefore be converted into images and replaced wherever possible.
